Imagine Jersey 2035 is a consultation run by Involve for the States of Jersey on how the economic impact of the ageing population should be managed in Jersey.
All across the developed world more people live longer past retirement age and fewer babies are born. This has implications for Jersey's economy.
The public consultation has three stages:
- a consultation document
- an online survey
- a public conference on January 19 2008 in St Helier (see the final report, trade off game results, evaluation and voting results)
Involve has developed this site to provide and independent space for the people of Jersey to debate and discuss the issues raised by the consultation document and the consultation process as a whole.
Involve will post new updates on a bi-monthly basis for 6 months after the final event.
